I am a lovable, housebroken, neutered, adult cat who would love to move to that special home where I could have a little more freedom and human company.

I have tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) and negative for FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus).  I can still live a long happy life with your special care.

FIV is spread primarily by biting.

FIV is not spread from sharing food or water dishes or by petting.

• To be indoors at all times. (So I won't spread FIV.)
• To live with another friendly cat, be the only cat in the house, or live with an FIV positive cat.
• To live in a house that is not stressful to me.
• To get nutritious food to eat!
• To have someone who understands my disease and will take good care of me.
• To go to the vet at least once a year and whenever I need it.

I'm easy care and very happy to curl up on a soft towel inside a large wicker basket.  I like to be close by and love to be on your lap or alongside.  At times I will follow you around like a dog and come when you call me by my original name "Cosmo".
