Dogs listed in this section are in need of a new home but are not actually at our shelter.  These are courtesy postings, not shelter dogs living in foster homes.  This is our way of helping dogs find homes when we are not able to take them into the shelter.  If you are interested in adopting one of the dogs listed here please contact their guardian directly.

Hi my name is Sophie, I am a six year old Spayed female Rottweiler, I recently became an orphan after my owner passed away and unfortunately the other family members cannot keep me.  I have lots of love and energy, enjoy playing ball and especially tug-a-war, I like other dogs but do not care much for cats and I should not be placed with a family with small children.  I am looking for that right person or family who are familiar with my breed and can provide me with a loving and caring home.  I need a firm hand and a soft heart; I know I could make someone very happy.   Janet Stalcup 541-888-3506,
